2023 is soon coming to an end and this means that there’s thing from the past year to be grateful for and things that I’m looking forward to in 2024.

2023 was the year that I got to play a nice and long tour with Jeff “Tain” Watts and Carl Winther, I released the third studio album “Undo” with Richard Andersson NOR featuring Hilmar Jensson and I played a lot of solo concerts in Denmark, Germany and the Faroe Islands. It was a busy, productive and very interesting year artistically.

I’ve got a few things that I’m really excited about in the coming year.

Firstly, I’m going to be developing new material for a collaboration with Vendsyssel Art Museum in the north of Jutland. The project builds on my solo album U·Synlig and at the museum, the sound files I’m creating with solo double bass will be available along with audio descriptions at the specific art works that I have been inspired by. I’m calling it accessibility works and the aim is to make visual art accessible to more people. The project is supported by Statens Kunstfond.

In February and March, I’ll be playing a few gigs with Anne Efternøler & Lige Børn. We’ll be playing in Copenhagen, Odense and Vejle. Make sure to stop by, if you’re in the area.

I’m also very excited to be releasing a new album in 2024. The album is from a studio recording with Jeff “Tain” Watts and Carl Winther that we did in August this year. The first single from the album is already out and the next one comes out in February.
